Valiant Guitars have their origins in a small workshop specializing in custom guitar crafting, founded by two brothers who have been engaged in guitar making for over 30 years.
For most of their lives, the Gavrilenko brothers have served the music community as respected luthiers with a deep understanding of musicians’ needs. Furthermore, being skilled musicians themselves, they were able to complement each other’s skills and create an efficient partnership capable of bringing to life the ideas of even the most demanding musicians.
The older brother, Vadym, is educated as an aerospace engineer. However, the aerospace industry did not gain another talented specialist, but the precision and exactitude characteristic of aerospace engineering found their way into the guitars. Perhaps that’s why the cosmic theme resonates with Valiant’s aesthetics.
Jupiter was designed to be a versatile, offset-inspired all-arounder for use in both studio and live situations, enriched by series/ parallel/ single-coil switches. However, a deeper understanding of the instrument’s core feature came after receiving feedback, customer reviews, and hours of playing. Jupiter’s dynamic feedback creates enchanting mid-range forward projection, which blooms even stronger after striking each chord or note. It appears as though motion, driven by the player, where touch ignites a chain reaction of frequencies and vibrations, is naturally fitting into the traditional understanding of instrumental mix. Jupiter serves as the conduit between your musicality and precise execution.
Proprietary SWIFT-RS Bridge
The bridge, made of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with bell-bronze saddles, is designed for extra rigidity and tonal transfer. A special feature of this bridge is the elongated saddle travel, allowing for proper intonation even down to B Standard tuning.
Versatile Switching
Dedicated to each pickup, three-position slider switches allow you to change from standard humbucker pickup series mode to single-coil or parallel.
Material Choice
While every decent guitar company cares about wood quality, we took it a step further by introducing acrylic pickguards and duralumin parts, such as neck plates, “fins,” and the bridge. While we don’t claim to add something significant to the sound, we strive to avoid subtracting anything from the sound with the introduction of higher-grade materials.
Adjustable Bell Bronze Nut
Following the golden rule that everything in contact with the strings should be meaningful and high-quality, our nut is made of bell bronze, allowing you to fine-tune your setup with individual screws to adjust your string height.
